Ruth Park Golf Course, formerly known as University Golf Course, was created by the famous Scotsman Robert Foulis, a world-renowned designer responsible for many of the area’s best courses. Ruth park features Zoysia grass tees and fairways, as well as bent grass greens and tree-lined, hilly terrain. It’s a challenge for any golfer, but it never crosses that difficulty line that makes a course unenjoyable.
“This a perfect round of nine. Range, too. The course is in terrific shape, rarely backs up too much, and there are two very challenging holes (#2 and #5). Par is gettable if you putt well. Definitely a well-kept secret and less mainstream alternative to FoPo or Creve Couer which are slower rounds.”
